I am a sex scholar, fiction novelist, and spiritual maven who helps feminine people feel healthy and empowered in their sexuality.
In case you are wondering, my name is pronounced nah-dejj
(you can thank my French parents for providing me with a name that makes absolutely no sense on paper).
On an average day, you’ll find me in my home office, ginger hair in a power ponytail, as I use my nerd powers for good. I’m mainly known for being an optimistic feminist though my friends would describe me as open-minded and eccentric.
In 2012 I arrived at Berkeley to study English. As a lover of fantasy, my goal was to study literature and one day put my fiction novels next to names like N.K. Jemisin. I still write fiction, but when I arrived at Berkeley I was underwhelmed to find that I’d be re-reading the same authors until I graduated.
Then I had a gut reaction. I was not in the right scholarly field. From an early age, I had been hungry for sex. This blossomed into a life filled with lovers, but the truth was, I wasn’t enjoying the sex. Orgasming can be difficult and I subconsciously believed that my job in the bedroom was to please the other person.
So, I decided to change my academic field. In my spare time, I found myself interning with my school’s Gender Equity Resource Center. I began learning about holistic and mystic forms of sexual healing. I dove deep into feminist porn to research consent and BDSM. I even trained to be a Dominatrix when the opportunity presented itself.
Education empowered me, and now I use my knowledge as a sex scholar to help others discover and define what sexual liberation means to them.
There is so much misinformation about sex. It’s a wonder any of us are brave enough to cum together at all.
This is why I started my journey, and all these years later, I’m still fascinated by sex. I realized that when I feel healthy in my sexuality, I experience more fulfilling relationships, higher life satisfaction, and confidence within uncertainty. I’m more creative and feel spiritually empowered by the natural world.
The foundation for everything I do is shaped by the science and theology I learned at Berkeley. My goal is to help you to make informed decisions about sex, wellness, and your sexuality. I don’t want you to mimic what’s trending. I want you to discover what genuinely empowers you.
Through my work, I strive to make sexual liberation the norm in a society that profits off of shame.
